You might think you need to be a pro model to get these shots, but honestly, you do not. My process is 50 percent technical and 50 percent 'vibing'. I am right there with you on set, shouting instructions about angles or fixing your hair, all while we are probably cracking jokes to loosen you up. It is a team effort, and my goal is to make sure the person in the photo is actually you, not just a stiff version of yourself.
I have spent enough time behind the lens to know that the best portraits happen when you forget the camera exists. That is why I treat these sessions as a mix of 'elegant' and 'khanabadosh' (nomadic). We are not just taking pictures, we are capturing a mood—whether that is a breezy golden hour session on a Mumbai beach or a moody, introspective indoor shoot.
I handle the creative direction, so you do not need to stress about the 'what ifs.' If you are camera-shy, do not worry. I am used to working with non-professionals. We will find your angles, fix the lighting, and maybe even turn the shoot into a meme-worthy afternoon if things get too serious.
From pre-shoot planning to the final color grading, everything I do is about keeping the vibe authentic. Kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta hai doston (to gain something, you have to lose something, friends)—and sometimes, to get that perfect shot, you have to be willing to look a little goofy for a second before we nail the hero image.
