My Unfiltered, Real-Skin Makeup Philosophy
I am done with the cakey makeup propaganda. My approach is simple: breathable, radiant, and unfiltered makeup that celebrates your real skin texture.
These are the industry myths I refuse to believe as a makeup artist. Bridal makeup does not have to be heavy, and real skin has texture. That's the philosophy I teach.
The ultimate proof of my philosophy is that I did my own makeup on my wedding day. I trusted my skills to create a look that felt like me, and I want to teach you to do the same.
This is a little peek into my brain when I'm in the zone doing makeup. It's all about focus, passion, and bringing out the unique beauty of every single person.
About My Unfiltered Makeup Philosophy
The secret to my 'unfiltered' finish isn't about using a ton of product; it is about how we prep your skin. In my sessions, we stop obsessing over thick foundation and start focusing on hydration and color correction. Your makeup should look like skin—not a mask—which is why we spend so much time on skin prep before the glam even begins.
Why I Ditch the Heavy Layers
There is a massive amount of misinformation out there suggesting that bridal or party makeup must be heavy, cakey, or filtered to be considered 'flawless.' I simply do not buy into it. Real skin has texture, pores, and personality. My philosophy is about enhancing what you already have, not hiding it under ten layers of product.
My Approach to Dewy, Radiant Skin
When I work with brides in Mumbai or run my self-grooming workshops in Ghatkopar, my goal is the same. We focus on:
- Skin Prep: This is the most critical step. If your skin is not hydrated and primed correctly, no amount of foundation will save the look. We use a CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine that actually matches your skin type.
- Color Correction: Instead of using heavy concealers that turn grey, we use color theory to neutralize dark circles and pigmentation naturally.
- Breathable Bases: We aim for a dewy finish that allows your skin to breathe, making you feel comfortable all day long, whether you are at a Sangeet or a Pheras ceremony.
Learn the Techniques Yourself
My 2-day self-grooming workshops are designed for anyone who wants to stop relying on heavy professional glam and start feeling confident doing their own makeup. We cover everything from building a kit on a budget to mastering the 'clean girl' office look that transitions into evening glam. You will practice on yourself, with my direct guidance, in a small, interactive group setting. It is not a lecture; it is a space for you to get your hands dirty, try new products, and finally figure out what works for your unique face shape and vibe.
