About Featured
In my studio, I prioritize a signature foundation-free technique that respects the skin while ensuring a radiant, long-lasting finish for long wedding days. This is not just about coverage, but about mastering skin preparation and color theory so you can create looks that appear timeless in photographs and natural in person. If you are here to learn, this is exactly the kind of technical detail I teach my students to ensure they stand out in the industry.
My work is rooted in the rich traditions of South Indian weddings, from the heavy silk of a Kanjeevaram saree to the intricate temple jewelry. However, I believe that tradition does not mean heavy, cakey makeup.
What I Teach
At my academy in Basavanagudi, Bangalore, I focus on bridging the gap between artistic vision and technical execution. My 18-day Professional Bridal & Hair Certification is designed for artists who want to move beyond textbook methods.
- Foundation-Free Artistry: We focus on skin health. You will learn to identify undertones and prep skin so that the natural glow shines through, rather than being hidden under layers of product.
- South Indian Muhurtham Looks: You will learn the specific balance of bold eyes and classic lips that complement heavy gold jewelry and traditional attire.
- Modern Glamour: We also cover the reception and sangeet looks that require a different touch—soft glam, luminous skin, and precise hairstyling techniques like messy buns and open waves.
A Hands-On Environment
I run an intensive, cohort-based program. You get hands-on practice because you cannot learn makeup by watching alone. From saree draping with box pleats to complex flower placement (Jada work), we go through the full bridal transformation.
My goal is to send you out with a portfolio that reflects your actual skill. For those in the higher tier of my certification, we include a professional photographer and model session so you have high-quality work to show your first clients.
