About Mehendi, Haldi & Roka Looks
For daytime events like your Mehendi or Haldi, I prioritize a sheer, breathable foundation that stays fresh under the sun. My technique includes specialized skin prep using high-end serums to ensure your makeup feels weightless and comfortable, rather than heavy or caked, while you enjoy your festivities.
The pre-wedding glow is different from your main ceremony look. When I work on Roka, Mehendi, or Haldi events, the goal is always longevity and comfort. These functions often happen outdoors or involve a lot of movement, so I use SPF-based primers and lighter coverage that allows your natural skin to shine through.
My approach for these events centers on a few key practicalities:
- Sun-Proofing: I use specific setting sprays and formulas that resist heat and humidity, ensuring you look just as fresh in your final photo as you did for your first one.
- Floral & Accessory Integration: Whether you are wearing real jasmine flowers in your hair or heavy floral jewelry, I ensure the hair styling and makeup are secured to support those accessories without tugging or discomfort.
- Color Play: I love using pops of color in your eyeliner or lip shade to complement your outfit's festive palette. We can keep it soft and romantic for a Roka or add a bit of drama for your Sangeet, but it always starts with that signature radiant finish.
