Real Transformations and Natural Makeup Looks
Makeup isn't about hiding behind layers of product. Here is a look at my real-skin transformations, captured without heavy filters, so you can see exactly how the makeup sits on the skin.
A beautiful transition perfect for the wedding season. We created this gorgeous cocktail party look by focusing on glowing skin and defined eyes, a style you can easily learn to do yourself.
Even a quick makeover can make a huge impact. This is a simple and minimal makeup look I created for a shoot, focusing on fresh skin and natural definition.
A stunning South Indian bridal transformation. I focused on creating a radiant base with soft pink eyeshadow to complement her gorgeous purple and blue saree, ensuring she looked and felt beautiful on her special day.
This is a completely raw and unedited before and after of a beautiful bridal look. My goal is always to create a look that feels authentic to you, just elevated for your big day.
Here is another gorgeous reception look transformation. We opted for a bright magenta lip and shimmering eyeshadow to create a celebratory feel that photographed beautifully.
For camera work like this music album shoot, the base needs to be flawless. I teach the techniques for achieving a full-coverage yet natural-looking base that looks perfect on screen.
About Real Transformations, No Filters
My approach to these transformations is straightforward: focus on the skin prep first. Whether I am prepping a bride for a South Indian wedding or getting an actor ready for a music album shoot, I skip the heavy airbrushing and focus on strategic product placement. What you see in these photos is how the makeup sits in real lighting. The key is in the CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine and choosing the right base for your skin type, which is exactly what we would focus on if you booked a session.
Why Real Skin Matters
In a world of heavy social media editing, I believe in showing the actual texture of skin. When you hire a makeup artist for your big day, you need to know how the look will hold up in person, not just through a screen. You want a look that stays fresh from the first ritual to the final reception.
My Technique
I work out of my studio in Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore, where we focus on techniques that actually last.
- Skin Analysis: Before I apply a single product, I identify your skin type. This dictates whether we need a hydrating base or a matte finish.
- Color Theory: I match your undertone so the foundation looks like a second skin rather than a mask.
- Longevity: I use specific setting methods for our weather or long wedding days. You do not need excessive setting spray if the foundation is applied correctly and the skin is prepped right.
For Shoots vs. Weddings
The makeup for a music video shoot requires a different approach than a Muhurtham. For camera work, I focus on full coverage that does not look cakey under studio lights. For weddings, I prioritize a finish that looks elegant during the ceremony and stays intact through the party. If you want to learn how to achieve these results yourself, my self-grooming workshops break down these exact steps.
