About My Makeup Philosophy & Tips
Great makeup begins long before I touch your face. If you want that lit-from-within glow, do not just focus on the final look—focus on your skin health weeks before. I often guide my clients to prioritize hydration and a consistent routine, because no amount of product can hide skin that hasn't been prepped. If your skin is taken care of, the foundation sits beautifully, and we can achieve that fresh, natural radiance together.
It Is All About the 'Yeh Kaun Hai' Moment
When I finish a look and you look in the mirror, I want you to smile and think, 'Yeh kaun hai!' (Who is this!). That is the real magic of what I do. It is not about changing who you are; it is about enhancing your features so you feel like the best version of yourself, not a stranger.
Why Skin Prep is Non-Negotiable
I often see clients come in with dehydrated or dull skin, expecting a miracle with foundation. The truth is, your base is only as good as the canvas beneath it. Whether we go for a soft natural look or heavy bridal glam, your skin needs to be prepped. I recommend starting a hydrating skincare routine, drinking enough water, and ensuring your skin is well-rested. If your skin is not well taken care of, makeup will simply sit on the surface, and that is where you see texture, dullness, or unevenness under the wedding lights.
Setting Realistic Expectations
I believe in being honest. We live in an era of filtered photos, but in real life, makeup is a surface-level art. I cannot change your bone structure or permanently alter your skin tone. What I can do is use techniques like contouring and highlighting to enhance what you already have. Do not expect me to perfectly replicate a heavily edited Instagram photo because your face, your lighting, and your skin texture are unique.
How I Work
My process is built on connection. Before I open my kit, we chat about your outfits, your vision, and what makes you feel comfortable. I use only my own professional-grade products, and I ensure the entire experience is stress-free. My goal is for you to walk down the aisle feeling confident, knowing that every detail, from the lashes to the draping, has been handled with care.
