Behind the Scenes: Creative Makeup Artistry & Expo Highlights
From makeup expos to recreating iconic Bollywood looks, here is a peek into my creative process and the moments that fuel my passion. 🧿
A wonderful experience at the Beautech Expo with MaryJoK. It was amazing to connect with so many of you and share my love for makeup. Feeling so grateful for all the love.
A side-by-side comparison of our look inspired by the timeless beauty, Rekha ji. It was an honour to recreate her iconic style for the lovely Priya Ahuja.
From blending brushes to blending lives. Sharing a happy moment from my own engagement. This journey has been a blessing.
So much joy in my heart as I start this new chapter with my forever.
The happiness that comes from finding your person. Feeling incredibly blessed and grateful.
A quiet moment together. It's a beautiful feeling to be on the other side of the makeup chair for a change.
Looking forward to forever. Thank you all for your love and blessings on my special day.
About this collection
Whether I am demonstrating techniques at a makeup expo or meticulously recreating a classic Bollywood look, my process remains the same. I do not just apply makeup; I study the face, the light, and the intention. It is about understanding how texture and colour interact under stage lights versus natural daylight. When I work on these special projects, I am experimenting with new finishes and bold ideas so that when I sit in your chair, I have the confidence to try something different that fits your personality perfectly.
My work goes beyond the bridal chair. Participating in industry events like the Beautech Expo allows me to keep my skills sharp and stay updated on the latest trends in product application and long-wear techniques. I love the challenge of editorial and creative shoots because they force me to move away from my comfort zone and try new things.
The Rekha-Inspired Look
You will see in my gallery a project where we recreated a classic look. This was not just about matching the makeup; it was about capturing the tehzeeb (grace) and the old-world glamour of the original. We spent time selecting the right tissue saree and traditional gold jewelry to ensure the final portrait felt authentic and not just a costume. It taught me so much about how subtle contouring and bold lips can transform a face.
Why Special Projects Matter
Every experiment I do—whether it is a vibrant purple lehenga for a showcase or a soft, editorial shoot—teaches me something new about skin texture and product blending. I bring all these learnings back to your wedding day. If you want a look that is inspired by Bollywood royalty or something completely modern and edgy, I have likely practiced the technique already. My hands are guided by my faith and a constant desire to learn, which is why I am always ready to try new hairstyles or bold eye looks for your big day. Jay Dwarkadhish! ♥️
