About Maternity & Photoshoot Glam
Lighting plays tricks on cameras that our eyes don't always catch. For photoshoots, I avoid heavy shimmer or overly shiny products that catch the flash poorly. Instead, I use a precise matte or satin finish base that keeps you looking radiant without that dreaded white cast in pictures, ensuring your features stay defined even when the camera lens flattens them.
When we step in front of the lens, the rules change a little. Regular party makeup can sometimes look flat or washed out once the camera flash hits, which is why I tailor every look specifically for the shoot environment.
Why Camera-Ready Makeup Matters
Cameras have a way of absorbing color and light. To combat this, I focus on specific techniques:
- Sculpting for 2D: I use enhanced contouring on your cheekbones and jawline to bring back the depth that 2D images often lose.
- Flash-Proof Bases: I select foundations and powders that prevent flashback, keeping your skin tone even and true-to-life.
- Definition: From tight-lining your eyes to choosing the right lip shade based on your location—be it a sunny beach or a moody indoor studio—every detail is planned to pop on camera.
Styling for Movement
Whether you are walking, dancing, or posing for candids, your hair needs to handle the motion. I focus on movement-friendly styling, like textured waves or secured updos, that stays in place even if it's a windy day outdoors. We keep the hairspray and setting labor tight so you don't have to worry about strands falling out of place mid-shoot.
The Experience
My goal is to make you feel like yourself, just a little more polished. We’ll chat before we start to figure out your comfort level. If you're feeling nervous, we might even start with a relaxing face massage to get your blood circulating and help you de-stress. I work across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and can travel to your location, or you can visit my studio in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
