About Raptors & Owls: The Silent Hunters

Capturing the split-second a raptor strikes requires more than just high shutter speeds; it demands an understanding of bird behavior and hours of patient observation. I shoot these with a 600mm prime lens, which allows me to maintain a respectful distance so the bird continues its hunt undisturbed, while still capturing the fine details in the feathers and eyes that make for a striking wall print.
