About Draping, Styling & Finishing Touches
When a bride forgets her jewelry, you do not panic; you improvise. I recently used hair crystals to create a custom crystal glove on a bride’s mehndi, turning a last-minute crisis into her favorite look. In my classes, I teach this kind of practical problem-solving alongside professional draping techniques because a true artist needs to handle any situation on the spot.
A perfect bridal look does not end at the face. The way you drape a dupatta or style an outfit defines the entire silhouette, and that is what sets a pro artist apart. Whether you are a fellow artist or a bride-to-be, mastering the art of the drape is non-negotiable.
I focus on multiple styles: from the classic red-and-gold bridal drape to modern, minimalist styles that do not cover the head. When I teach draping in my Noida studio or online, we do not just pin fabric. We look at face shape, lehenga style, and comfort. For example, a heavy dupatta on the head requires a different pinning technique than a lightweight, free-flowing one on the shoulder.
My courses cover:
- Single and double dupatta techniques for different lehenga styles.
- Creating modern silhouettes without sacrificing traditional vibes.
- Quick, brilliant fixes for missing jewelry or styling mishaps.
I also teach you how to maintain the integrity of the look so that the bride stays comfortable throughout her long event. It is about practical knowledge that works in the real world, not just for the camera. If you want to learn how to drape like a pro and handle those tricky last-minute details, join my upcoming sessions.
