Interactive Magic Shows for Kids and Families

Forget sitting still and watching. My stage shows are high-energy experiences where everyone—kids and adults—becomes part of the magic.

Performing on stage at a corporate family day for Tech Mahindra. I love getting the kids involved, bringing them on stage, and making them the stars of the show.

The energy from a large audience of children is electric. This was at a Vacation Bible School event, where my show was filled with fun, laughter, and moments of awe.

About this collection

When I walk into a birthday party or a family reunion, don't expect a clown. I arrive in a suit, ready to make the birthday star the hero of the show. I keep the energy high so that everyone—from the kids to the ajji (grandma) who says she's seen it all—is joragi chappale hodibeku (clapping loudly).

Magic, to me, isn't about me showing off what I can do; it is about making sure the whole room feels chennagittu (proper good). Whether it is a kid’s birthday party or a large family gathering, I structure my stage shows to bridge the gap between age groups.

Why my approach works

  • No passive watching: I hate the idea of a show where people just sit and clap. I need the audience involved. Kids get on stage, parents get tricked, and the birthday child is the assistant.
  • Language is no barrier: I perform in a mix of English, Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil. If I see a room full of kids, I adjust on the fly to make sure everyone understands the trick and the joke. Puriyutha? (Do you get it?)
  • For all generations: I have spent years tuning my act. I know how to keep a 6-year-old engaged with visual silk tricks and how to keep the adults interested with a bit of mentalism or mind-reading.

The practical side

I come fully prepared for both large halls and smaller living rooms. I bring my own professional PA system, so you do not have to worry about the sound quality, even in a noisy hall. My performances range from 45 to 60 minutes, which is usually the sweet spot before the kids lose focus or the cake cutting needs to happen.

If you want a show that feels less like a performance and more like a shared experience, let’s chat.

Magic found me when I was 15, and honestly, it saved my life. I am Pradeep Tyson, and I believe magic is about more than just tricks—it is about creating a moment of pure happiness, whether it is for a group of kids or a multi-generational family reunion.
