This is my story. I almost never posted my first dance video because I was scared of what people would say. But taking that small step changed everything and led to the creation of Mad Over Thumkaas. I hope it inspires you to start, even if you're scared.

About Our Story & Team
When you book us, you aren't just hiring instructors; you're getting a team that treats your sangeet like our own family event. We don't just teach steps, we handle everything from custom song mixing and stage cues to managing large groups, so you don't have to worry about the logistics when you're on the dance floor.
Mad Over Thumkaas was born from a simple idea: dancing should be for everyone, not just the professionals. What started in a small building corner in Mumbai with a fear of 'log kya kahenge' (what will people say) has grown into a team that now orchestrates performances across India and virtually around the globe.
Our philosophy is simple. We want to see your nani, your uncle who only knows bhangra, and your best friends all having a great time. We focus on choreography that fits your skill level, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned dancer.
We love creating 'filmy' moments, but we know the reality of a wedding sangeet is often chaos. That is why we take charge of the tech side, too. We coordinate with your DJ for spotlight timing, help with prop lists, and even manage the backstage queueing so you don't have to deal with dead air during your performances. From concept-based sangeet shows with voiceovers to simple, high-energy group routines, our goal is to let you focus on the fun while we handle the rhythm. Whether you are based in Mumbai or planning a destination wedding, we are ready to travel or connect via Zoom to get you stage-ready.
