Finding that perfect balance between traditional roots and modern comfort for festivals. Whether it is for Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, or a wedding, let us make your festive look feel entirely like you.

Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a traditional green saree with a gold and maroon border. I paired it with a simple gold choker and bangles for an authentic and elegant Marathi Mulgi look.

For Diwali, I designed this custom lehenga, upcycling my mom's old saree for the blouse. The look features a rich magenta skirt and a brocade top, finished with fresh flowers in my hair.

A full-length view of my sustainable Diwali lehenga. The combination of the crushed fabric skirt and the traditional brocade blouse creates a beautiful blend of textures.

Holding a diya, the light illuminates the rich colors and intricate details of my Diwali outfit. Festive styling is about embracing tradition and celebrating with light and color.

A happy moment during Diwali. The dark green dupatta with heavy gold embroidery provides a beautiful contrast to the magenta and gold of the lehenga.

This look is all about personal touches. Using my mom's saree to create the blouse makes this outfit not just beautiful, but also meaningful.

A final shot of my self-designed Diwali look. It's a perfect example of how you can create a stunning, sustainable festive outfit by repurposing beloved family heirlooms.

A festive look in a vibrant pink suit. The heavily embroidered dupatta and sleeves add a touch of grandeur, while the large chandbali earrings complete the traditional ensemble.

A full, twirling shot of this beautiful pink anarkali. The flowing silhouette is perfect for festive celebrations, offering both elegance and comfort.

This seated pose showcases the intricate silver and gold embroidery on the dupatta and sleeves. It's these details that elevate a simple suit into a statement piece.

About Modern-Traditional & Festive Styling

When I style for festivals, it is not just about picking a heavy saree. It is about how we drape it to make you feel like yourself, not a costume. I love mixing elements, like upcycling a vintage piece or balancing a heavy dupatta with a simpler outfit, so you stay comfortable while looking put-together.

Festive season is the best time to experiment with Indian ethnic wear, but honestly, it can get overwhelming. Whether you are prepping for Ganesh Chaturthi or a wedding, the goal should be to feel confident, not just dressed up. My approach is simple: we start with a 45-minute chat to figure out what you actually enjoy wearing. Do you feel better in a classic silk saree, or does an anarkali suit give you more freedom to move?

We look at everything from custom-designing new outfits to giving your existing wardrobe a fresh lease of life. For one of my recent Diwali looks, I upcycled my mom’s old saree into a blouse for a new lehenga, which was sustainable, meaningful, and totally unique. That is the kind of styling I love to do.

If you have a special event coming up, let us chat about how we can create a cohesive look. I handle the sourcing, fitting, and even on-site draping so you can just show up and enjoy the celebrations. No stress about safety pins or uncomfortable drapes. I bring my stylist kit and we make sure everything stays in place while you dance. Reach out if you want to figure out your festive vibe, whether it is minimal, traditional, or something in between.
