About Travel & Outstation Meals
My travel meals use commercial-grade vacuum sealing to keep food fresh for days, not hours. Whether it’s methi theplas for a train journey or a full batch of dehydrated gravies for international travel, I pack everything to handle the bumps of the road without leaking or losing flavor.
Whether you are catching a flight, boarding a long-distance train, or heading out on a road trip, eating well on the go is usually a struggle. I take the stress out of your journey by preparing meals that are not just easy to carry, but actually taste like home.
Why my travel meals are different:
- Vacuum-Sealed Freshness: I use professional vacuum sealing for items like Methi or Masala Theplas, which ensures they stay soft and tasty for 5 to 7 days. For gravies and curries, I offer dehydrated, 'just-add-water' premixes that are spill-proof and lightweight.
- Dietary Customization: Most of my travel menu, including theplas and dry snacks, can be made 100% Jain (no onion, no garlic). If you need specific exclusions like no green vegetables for fasting days, just let me know.
- Compact & Leak-Proof: Nobody wants a messy suitcase. My ready-to-eat pouches are double-layered and clearly labeled, so you know exactly what you are opening.
Popular items for the road:
- Snacks: My Pudina Sticks, Chatpate Sticks, and Dry Gujju Kachori are addictive and won't crumble in your bag.
- Complete Meals: Puri-Bhaji or Idli-Chutney combos for shorter trips, and vacuum-packed theplas with tomato chutney for those long cross-country hauls.
If you have a specific travel date coming up, drop me a message. I suggest ordering at least 2 days in advance so I can prepare everything fresh for your departure day.
