About Himalayan & High-Altitude Treks
Getting from Bangalore to the Himalayas is a massive logistical puzzle, so we handle the entire process for you. Whether it is our guided Kedarkantha winter treks or the 14-day journey to Everest Base Camp, we coordinate all internal transport, homestays, and permits beforehand. You land at the base airport, and our team meets you there to start the trek immediately.
Our Approach to High-Altitude Trekking
We know that moving from the Western Ghats to the Himalayas is a big step. Many of our trekkers who start with us on local trails eventually want to test themselves at 12,000 feet and beyond. We make that transition seamless.
Logistics Sorted We manage the tricky parts. For our Himalayan departures, we organize the route from the local airport to the base camp, secure all forest department permits, and ensure you are booked into reliable, clean homestays or high-quality tent setups. You do not need to worry about the RTO taxes, mountain vehicle hires, or entry fees.
Trek Variations We offer different levels of intensity:
- Beginner & Intermediate: Treks like Kedarkantha are perfect for those wanting to experience fresh snow and ridge mountain views without extreme technical requirements.
- Expeditions: For the serious climbers, our fully supported Everest Base Camp (EBC) treks take you through Namche Bazaar and up to the majestic 5,643-meter altitudes, complete with cultural insights into Sherpa traditions.
Safety First High altitude requires more than just fitness. We include basic first aid, oxygen cylinders where needed, and experienced trek leaders who understand mountain weather patterns. We prioritize acclimatization to ensure you stay healthy and enjoy the climb. We provide a clear list of exclusions, so you know exactly what is covered and what you need to manage yourself, like personal shopping or extra insurance.
