Inside the Building of Our Dream Food Content Studio

Building a 2500 sq ft space from scratch is a massive gamble, but it is the only way to create the specific visuals we want. Here is a look at what goes into building a high-performance content studio.

This is the story of my biggest professional step yet. I'm documenting the entire process of building my dream food content studio to show the passion and ambition I bring to my work and the level of investment I'm making to create the best possible visuals for my clients.

About this collection

We invested 80 lakh rupees into this studio because standard rental spaces often lack the specific lighting controls and dedicated food-prep kitchens needed for high-end D2C work. We designed this space to be a tool for efficiency, allowing us to pivot between complex food styling, beverage slow-motion shots, and interior setups without the typical production delays of moving gear across the city.

When we decided to build this 2500 sq ft facility in Lower Parel, the goal was simple: stop working around the limitations of rented venues and build a space designed specifically for the art of food content.

Why the Studio Matters for Your Brand

Most restaurant and food photography requires a blend of natural light and controlled studio environments. By building our own facility, we have:

  • Dedicated Kitchen Infrastructure: We don't just shoot food, we style it. This studio includes a prop library, fresh-water access, and temperature-controlled prep areas so ingredients stay camera-ready for longer.
  • Light Control: We engineered our window placement and ceiling height to manage ambient light, meaning we can mimic a 'morning café' vibe or a 'late-night bar' mood at any hour of the day.
  • Workflow Speed: Because the studio is a permanent setup, we don't spend hours on rigging. Your shoot day is focused entirely on the content, not the logistics.

This isn't just an office. It is the engine behind our 7 crore business vision. We wanted a place that matches the ambition of our clients, whether they are new D2C brands looking for their first launch library or established restaurant chains in Mumbai needing high-volume visual updates. When you book a session here, you are walking into a space built by people who have spent the last eight years obsessing over exactly how light hits a cheese pull or a cocktail pour.
