Working as a Para Legal Volunteer in Tihar Jail completely changed how I see justice in India. It showed me that knowing your basic rights is the only way to avoid being stuck in a broken system.

About My Volunteer Work at Tihar Jail

During my time with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority inside Tihar, I realized that access to justice is often just a matter of knowing your basic rights. Most undertrials I worked with were stuck not because they were guilty, but because they lacked simple legal guidance on bail and procedure. This experience wasn't just about volunteering; it was about seeing the system from the inside so I can guide you better on the outside.

Lessons from Inside

Spending time in Central Jail No. 3 taught me more about the Indian legal system than any textbook ever could. I wasn't there as a high-priced lawyer initially; I was there as a Para Legal Volunteer (PLV) to bridge the gap between complex legal processes and the actual individuals stuck inside.

The Reality of Undertrials

Many people languish behind bars simply because they don't understand the process for 'Condonation of Delay' or how to effectively file for regular bail. I spent my days inside the complex, identifying cases where legal aid was desperately needed. It was raw and eye-opening. We handled everything from explaining rights to police procedures to helping with basic documentation.

Why This Matters for You

This background defines how I work now. When you come to me for criminal law advice or bail guidance, I don't just quote sections from the IPC. I apply the same approach I used in Tihar: practical, no-nonsense, and focused on what actually works in the system. Whether you are dealing with police questioning or just need to understand your rights, I know how the system operates on the ground, not just in theory.

If you find yourself lost in legal jargon or worried about a court process, remember that most of these problems have a solution if you know the right steps. Let's talk about your situation, assess the reality of your case, and build a roadmap that makes sense.
