Ganapati Hegde: Fables from the Forest

Ganapati Hegde’s otherworldly jungles are teeming with life, from caterpillars and chameleons to birds and butterflies. Inspired by his childhood in the Western Ghats, his acrylic and oil paintings are part-real, part-imagined forestscapes layered with fantastical elements. The animals are playfully humanised, inviting us to reflect on our connection with the world and our place within it.
