You do not need expensive toys to keep your dog mentally stimulated. I will show you how to turn cardboard boxes, old towels, and household scraps into fun, challenging puzzle games that strengthen the bond you share.

Your dog doesn't care about price tags! Join my live class to learn how to make simple and fun DIY enrichment games for your dog using everyday items you already have at home.

Here is a great idea for a DIY enrichment toy using an empty juice carton and some rope. I walk you through the simple steps to create a fun puzzle that lets your dog use their nose and paws to get treats.

Is your dog bored even after walks? My "Seize the Play!" masterclass, created with a fellow expert, teaches you how to make engaging puzzle toys from household scraps to keep your dog mentally stimulated.

This poster for my "Seize the Play!" workshop series shows the variety of DIY toys we learn to make. The classes are split into beginner and intermediate levels to suit everyone.

About Fun at Home: DIY Enrichment

You might think your dog needs the latest fancy toy to stay busy, but cardboard boxes and old towels are often more rewarding. When you make a simple scent-based puzzle at home, you aren't just keeping them occupied—you are letting them use their natural sniffing and foraging instincts, which burns more mental energy than a long, hurried walk around the block.

Why Enrichment Matters

Many behavioural issues stem from boredom rather than 'bad' behaviour. If your dog still has energy after their two daily walks, they aren't just physically restless—they are mentally under-stimulated. My DIY workshops focus on 'canine enrichment', which encourages dogs to use their nose and brain to solve problems. This is a game-changer for high-energy pups, nervous dogs, or anyone stuck indoors on a rainy day.

What We Make Together

In my live online sessions, we go beyond simple fetch. We dive into:

  • Cardboard Puzzles: Turning empty delivery boxes and toilet paper rolls into treat-dispensing challenges.
  • Scent Games: Using towels, scraps, and household items to build a mini-sniffing wall or scavenger hunt.
  • Foraging Mats: Crafting DIY versions of snuffle mats that satisfy your dog's natural urge to search for food.

How The Workshops Work

I host these as interactive, live Google Meet sessions. You aren't just watching a pre-recorded video; you are building the toy right alongside me. I provide a dedicated Q&A at the end so we can troubleshoot any snags your dog might face. You also get access to the recording for 7-15 days, so you can re-watch the steps whenever you want to try a new game.

These sessions are designed for everyone, regardless of your craft skills. My goal is to make the process easy and fun, proving that you don't need a budget to give your dog a fulfilling, happy life.

I'm Shivani, and I help pet parents see the world through their dog's eyes. I wasn't always a dog person—I actually used to be afraid of them—but learning to speak their language completely changed my life, and I'd love to help you build that same deep, playful bond.
