Resin jewelry is about the chemistry between your memento and the medium, and getting that perfect, glass-like finish takes patience. Because we hand-pour each piece, air bubbles are our biggest challenge, so we work meticulously to remove them, ensuring your ring or pendant remains crystal clear for years. If you are sending us your own flowers, please ensure they are fully dried before they reach our studio, as even a tiny bit of trapped moisture can cause the resin to cloud over time.
How We Create Your Keepsake
Turning a fleeting memory into something you can wear every day is a delicate process. We don't just pour resin; we layer it. Each piece of jewelry begins with the careful placement of your flowers—whether it is a petal from a wedding varmala or a sprig of baby's breath—within a gold or rose-gold plated bezel. We then pour professional-grade epoxy resin in controlled stages to ensure every detail is locked in place without distorting the shape of the flower.
Customizing Your Piece
We know that sentiment matters. You can choose from our existing designs like heart-shaped pendants or simple circular rings, or we can discuss a design that fits your style. Whether you want to add gold flakes for a bit of shimmer or keep it minimal to highlight the natural beauty of the flower, we can tailor it to your preference.
Important Details for Your Order
- Curing Time: Good things take time. Resin needs a full 48 hours to cure properly after the final pour. We then spend additional time on sanding and polishing the edges to ensure they are smooth and comfortable against your skin.
- Flower Condition: If you are providing flowers, please dry them out completely in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight before handing them over. If they are fresh, we can assist with the drying process, but this adds to the overall lead time.
- Daily Wear: While our resin is durable, we recommend keeping your jewelry away from harsh chemicals like perfumes or heavy lotions to keep the gold plating shining for longer.
