About this collection
My tea cozies are designed to fit standard 4-6 cup pots, using a mix of premium cotton and soft acrylic for the perfect balance of heat retention and texture. The kulhad covers are custom-sized to slide snugly over standard clay cups, adding a textured grip that protects your hands while keeping the tea warm during long, leisurely conversations.
There is a distinct joy in slowing down for a cup of tea. It is a ritual that deserves a little extra care, which is why I began crafting these tea time essentials. Whether you are hosting a festive gathering or enjoying a quiet moment on your balcony, a handmade crochet tea cozy does more than just keep your drink warm; it brings a layer of personality to your kitchen or living space.
The cozies I create are structured with hypoallergenic poly-fill to maintain their shape, ensuring they stand sturdy alongside your favourite teapot. They are built for the Indian home; durable, colourful, and easy to care for. Because they are hand-washable in cold water, you do not have to worry about the occasional spill during a busy afternoon tea.
My kulhad covers come from a place of loving that authentic desi touch. They turn simple earthen cups into conversation pieces, adding a splash of colour to your tablescape. I also love playing with seasonal themes, whether it is tricolor patterns for Independence Day or floral motifs that transition perfectly from spring to summer. If you have a specific colour scheme in mind for your dining area or a unique teapot size, feel free to reach out. I truly enjoy the process of co-creating pieces that feel like they belong in your home from the very first day.
