About this collection
You might notice my blooms look just as fresh on the coldest day of winter as they do in spring. Each flower is crafted on a flexible, wire-wrapped stem, so you can easily bend and pose them to fit perfectly into your favourite vase or styling vignette.
There is something quiet and lovely about having flowers that don't wilt. I started crocheting these blooms because I wanted to capture the beauty of a garden and bring it inside, where it can be enjoyed regardless of the season.
Each flower, whether it is a bright daisy, a classic tulip, or a romantic rose, is made using premium semi-mercerized cotton. This gives the petals a soft yet structured feel that holds its shape beautifully over time. I use flexible crafting wire wrapped in yarn for the stems, which makes them surprisingly easy to arrange... you can adjust the curve of a tulip or the angle of a daisy to suit the mood of your room.
Since these are handcrafted, they are not factory-perfect, and I love that. It means every petal has a little bit of my heart in it. They are also incredibly practical... if they get dusty, a gentle hand wash in cold water is all they need to look new again.
