About Instructor Certification Programs
These courses are not for casual practitioners. We facilitate the General Instructor Course (GIC) and Law Enforcement Instructor Course (LEIC) with the same intensity found at KMG headquarters. You are looking at a minimum of 70 hours of rigorous physical and technical testing. If you want to teach, you must understand the mechanics, error correction, and combat psychology that the system demands.
Civilian Certification (GIC)
The General Instructor Course is the standard for anyone wanting to teach KMG Krav Maga. Over 7 days and 70 hours, we break down the technical syllabus from P1 to P5. This is not just learning moves; it is learning how to teach them. You will focus on:
- Didactics: How to manage a class, correct common errors, and explain technical mechanics.
- Technical Syllabus: Understanding the nuances of strikes, defense, and tactical movement.
- Examination: Continuous assessment leads to a final technical and teaching exam to earn your KMG Instructor Diploma.
Law Enforcement & Security (LEIC)
Our tactical modules are designed for police and security personnel who deal with high-stress scenarios. We prioritize realism over theory. The training covers:
- Arrest & Control: Ground and wall-based searching, handcuffing, and compliance techniques.
- Weapon Retention: Drills to prevent sidearm or baton snatching by assailants.
- Third-Party Protection: Methods to secure a principal or VIP.
