Smart Storage & Functional Hardware for Indian Kitchens

Good design is useless if it doesn't work for your daily routine. I build smart storage solutions that handle the reality of an Indian household, not just showroom looks.

Smart storage is about making every inch count. This image shows a drawer with a custom handle and soft-close mechanism, ensuring smooth and silent operation. The design is seamless and functional for modern living.

For narrow spaces, a vertical pull-out pantry like this is a game-changer. It provides easy access to all your items without requiring a large cabinet door that swings out into the room.

Organization is key, especially in the kitchen. This drawer features custom wooden dividers and organizers, keeping cutlery and utensils neatly in place. The glass sides add a touch of modern elegance.

This video showcases a variety of hardware solutions in action. You can see the smooth motion of lift-up doors, the convenience of roller shutters for appliance garages, and the detailed craftsmanship of different cabinet fronts.

Follow the journey of a project from my studio to a finished home. This video highlights features like integrated cabinet lighting, soft-close drawers, and glass wardrobes that make a space both stylish and highly functional.

Large drawers with integrated lighting are not only practical but also add a touch of luxury. This kitchen island features deep, illuminated drawers that make it easy to find what you need, even at the very back.

This shallow pull-out tray is perfect for organizing smaller items. The sleek design and smooth gliding mechanism demonstrate my commitment to functional details that improve your daily routine.

About this collection

It is easy to get distracted by glossy finishes, but the real test is how your kitchen handles a busy morning. I use German-made hardware for every drawer and hinge because I know Indian cooking involves heavy utensils and constant use that would break standard sliders in months. When I build your storage, I make sure the pull-outs and soft-close mechanisms are rated for actual, heavy-duty wear and tear.

Why Standard Storage Fails in India

Most kitchens aren't designed for how we actually cook. We have masalas, bulk grains, and heavy kadhais. If you use standard hinges, your doors will start sagging within a year. My approach is simple: I use high-quality hardware from brands like Blum and Hettich, which are built to handle real weight and daily movement.

The Solutions I Build

  • Vertical Pantry Units: Instead of a deep cabinet where things get lost in the back, I install pull-out pantries. You get access to everything with one motion.
  • Concealed Storage: We hide wires, remotes, and appliances behind pocket doors or roller shutters. This keeps your space clean even when you are actively using it.
  • Custom Organizers: Every kitchen has different needs. I build drawer dividers specifically for the items you own, ensuring your cutlery and tools have a dedicated, fixed home.

Material Matters

In Bombay and other humid Indian cities, moisture is the enemy. I use Boiling Water Proof (BWP) marine plywood or HDHMR boards for the carcass to prevent swelling. Whether you prefer a matte laminate, PU paint, or fluted glass shutters, the structure underneath is built to last for years, not just look pretty for the first month.
