About Creative Kids Studio Shoots
I don't believe in forcing poses for children. Whether we are doing a cake smash or a theme like 'little professor,' I schedule enough time for kids to settle in, eat, and just play. The studio is kept mellow, so we catch their genuine expressions instead of forced smiles.
How I approach kids' studio sessions
I treat every kids photography session as a collaboration, not a directive. In my Borivali studio, the goal is to make the space feel like a playground rather than a clinic. If a toddler wants to explore the props or take a break for a snack, we take that break.
Themed Milestone Shoots Whether you have a 'Little Chef' who wants to play with pastry props or a 'Little Professor' who loves reading, I use specific setups to bring that concept to life. All thematic props—like fake baked goods, vintage suitcases, and chalkboard backgrounds—are provided to save you the hassle of renting or buying.
Why choose a studio session?
- Controlled Environment: Air-conditioned, safe, and free from the heat or dust of outdoor locations.
- Wardrobe Access: You get access to studio rompers, hats, and wraps, so you don't have to scramble to find outfits at the last minute.
- Patience: I allocate 2 to 3 hours for these shoots. This allows for feeding, mood swings, and the inevitable time it takes for a child to warm up to the camera.
