Dapper Groom Portraits That Tell Your Story
A wedding isn't just about the bride. I focus on those sharp, confident, and candid moments that capture the groom's side of the journey.
A royal portrait of the groom in his white sherwani, holding a traditional sword. This shot, taken outdoors in Shimla, is full of regal charm.
The groom enjoying a lighthearted moment during his Haldi ceremony, holding a basket of marigold petals.
A stylish portrait of the groom in his off-white sherwani, captured in the soft evening light. The mood is classic and contemplative.
A full-length portrait of the groom seated outdoors at night. The lighting creates a dramatic, cinematic feel, highlighting his sharp attire.
A classic, sophisticated portrait of the groom in a beige suit, looking down with a subtle smile. The warm sunset light adds a touch of elegance.

About Dapper Groom Portraits
I often tell my grooms that the best shots aren't the stiff, forced ones. Whether you are in a traditional Sherwani or a sharp suit, we will find the right light—usually during the golden hour—so you can feel completely relaxed and just be yourself, not a model posing for a catalog.
There is a specific kind of energy in groom portraits that I love to capture. It is the mix of nerves, excitement, and that quiet moment of reflection before the festivities begin. When I am shooting, I look for more than just a well-fitted outfit. I want to see the personality behind the attire.
My approach relies on my Nikon Z-series gear, which allows me to work quickly and capture details—like the texture of your fabric or the way the light hits your face—without needing to pose you for hours. If we are shooting in a location like Woodville Palace in Shimla, I use the natural architecture and the mountain backdrop to add drama and scale. If we are in a busy hotel in Delhi, I focus on tight, cinematic compositions that cut out the noise and put the focus entirely on you.
I handle both classic portraits—the ones you’ll want to frame—and candid moments of laughter or interaction with your friends. If you are planning a destination wedding, I know how to manage the unique lighting challenges of the mountains to ensure your portraits look consistent with the rest of your wedding film. The goal is simple: photos that feel like a movie, where you look as confident as you feel.
