I blend the heavy bass of global club sounds with the nostalgia of Punjabi and Bollywood hits. Expect a raw, high-energy set that keeps the dancefloor moving all night long.

Dropping my 'Yeh Mera Dil' bass edit for a Panjabi rave. The reaction from the crowd when they hear a classic Bollywood tune flipped with a heavy bassline is always priceless.

The energy at my India tour shows was unreal. This black and white shot captures the pure joy and connection I felt with the crowd, with everyone just lost in the music.

A closer look at the 'Besharam' party. I played a nearly 3-hour set, starting with amapiano and finishing with hip-hop and Punjabi edits. These authentic, non-gimmicky desi parties are my favorite.

Junglebandi in full effect. Fusing the sounds of the dhol and tabla with the high-speed breaks of jungle music is my way of bridging two worlds. This is a live performance element that makes my sets unique.

A moment of pure vibes at a Jawani4eva party. These events are all about celebrating South Asian culture with the sickest tunes.

A few highlights from a wild 3-hour set at a 'Besharam' night. I tested out some new edits, blending everything from a Warli Revolt remix and Sidhu Moosewala dub to Bobby Kang and a Hanumankind blend.

About The Desi Dancefloor

My sets aren't just playlists; I curate the entire flow from start to finish. I stick to a strictly pre-planned narrative to keep the energy peaking, which means I do not take ad-hoc requests during the gig. This approach lets me drop my exclusive, unreleased edits and bootlegs exactly when the crowd needs them most.

My goal is simple: bridging the gap between underground UK club culture and the sounds I grew up with in Delhi. When I am in the booth, I am not just playing tracks, I am building a sonic arc. We start with the percussive, hypnotic rhythms of amapiano and afrobeats to warm things up, then pivot into darker, harder UK garage, jungle, and bass-heavy edits. The finale is where the desi element hits hardest, bringing in Punjabi garage, Bollywood flips, and high-tempo desi bass that usually floors the room.

I do not play safe. I want the sound to be physical, with heavy sub-bass and crisp percussion that you feel in your chest. Whether it is a 90-minute peak-time slot or an extended 4-hour takeover, the curation stays tight. I focus on creating a proper rave atmosphere, so I rely on professional-grade hardware. I need industry-standard Pioneer CDJs (NXS2 or 3000) and a mixer on-site to handle the transitions and effects that make my sound unique. If you are looking for a generic wedding set, that is not my lane. But if you want a curated, high-energy dancefloor experience that blends the best of local roots and global underground, let us make it happen. My work includes unique Punjabi club mixes and a variety of Bollywood bass remixes that are distinct to my sound.

I am Vibhu, or Kalbaisakhi. I grew up playing tabla in Delhi before moving to London to find my sound in the underground scene. Now I spend my time flipping classics and pushing heavy basslines at clubs and festivals.
