About The Bride: Portraits & Details
I have found that most brides feel nervous when a camera is pointed directly at them. To handle this, I avoid rigid, forced posing. Instead, I wait for those quiet, natural seconds—like when you adjust an earring, check your makeup in the mirror, or share a laugh with your bridesmaids—to get the shot that actually feels like you.
Bridal photography is about much more than just the lehenga and the makeup. It is about capturing your personality on the biggest day of your life. When I shoot, I pay close attention to the small details that make your bridal look unique: the intricate mehendi patterns, the weight of your jewellery, and the way you drape your veil.
My approach to bridal portraiture is a mix of classic elegance and candid comfort. I use a combination of natural light and soft off-camera flashes to ensure your skin tones look real and glowing, not over-processed or airbrushed.
How I Approach Your Portraits:
- The Details: I dedicate time to capturing 'getting ready' shots. These are the moments before the chaos of the baraat begins, where we can get clear, focused shots of your accessories and attire.
- Natural Posing: You won't find me telling you to 'smile more' for ten minutes. I prefer to guide you into a scene and then let you be, capturing the smiles that happen when you look at your family or think about the ceremony.
- Versatile Styles: Whether you want timeless black-and-white portraits that focus on your expression or vibrant, colourful shots that show off your outfit, we can achieve both in one session.
Ultimately, my goal is to give you a set of photos where you don't just see a model, but you see yourself. If you have a specific bridal look in mind or a family tradition you want documented, let me know, and we will make sure it is part of your story.
