Varmala Preservation Keepsakes
Your shaadi ki varmala deserves more than a corner in your wardrobe. I turn your wedding garlands into resin keepsakes that stay fresh forever. 🌸
Here is a set of 12 coasters I made for a client, preserving their varmala flowers inside. I also added their initials and wedding date, so these coasters will always remind them of their special day.
A beautiful way to keep your memories close. I created this pair of car hangings using preserved rose petals from a couple's varmala, with their wedding date inscribed.
This is a wedding souvenir I made using a peacock feather, with the Hare Krishna mantra inscribed on it. I pack each favor carefully in a delicate organza pouch, ready for gifting.
I found one of the souvenirs I made for my own wedding. I used a peacock feather and the Hare Krishna mantra. Even though not everything went as planned for my wedding, this piece reminds me that whatever happens, happens for your own good. 🤍
About Varmala Preservation Keepsakes
Sending your flowers to me is simple. You can courier your varmala to my New Delhi studio, and I will handle the delicate drying process before setting them in resin. Please remember that because I work with real, dried organic matter, the colors may shift slightly from the fresh petals—this is natural, and it gives every piece an earthy, authentic character that shows it is truly handmade.
Holding onto the Moment
There is something incredibly special about your wedding day, and your varmala is often the first tangible piece of that memory. Rather than letting the flowers wilt or simply packing them away, I work with you to freeze that moment in time. Whether you want a set of coasters, a decorative wall frame, or a car hanging, the goal is to create something you can actually use and hold.
The Handmade Process
Every piece I create in my New Delhi studio is made by hand, not by a machine. This means you will see tiny bubbles, slight imperfections, or variations in the resin finish. I believe these aren't flaws—they are proof that a human hand, not a factory line, crafted your keepsake. Har art piece ki apni story hoti hai (every art piece has its own story), and that includes the small quirks of the resin.
How It Works
- Reach Out: Connect with me so we can discuss the best design for your flowers.
- Courier: Carefully pack and send your varmala to my studio. I recommend sending them as soon as possible after the wedding so the flowers are still in good condition.
- Design: We decide on the layout—whether you want initials, your wedding date, or just the pure beauty of the preserved petals.
- Creation: I dry and set the flowers in high-quality, shatter-resistant resin.
- Home: I ship your finished keepsake back to you, ready to display.
If you have other mementos from your wedding, like kaleeras or invite cards, we can even create a combined keepsake. 🤍
