Minimally Invasive Thread Lifts for Facial Rejuvenation
A non-surgical way to lift sagging skin and redefine contours using precise thread placement. Learn about safe, natural-looking results from my global practice.
This is a glimpse from my Thread Masterclass in Delhi. These are intensive, small-group sessions focused on hands-on training for advanced thread lift techniques.
Patient safety is my top priority. At the DASIL conference in Vietnam, I was invited to speak on the critical topic of identifying and managing complications related to thread lifts.
In this lecture at IMCAS Americas, I discuss the potential complications of thread procedures. A deep understanding of anatomy and technique is crucial to minimizing risks and ensuring patient safety.
I was honored to chair a session at the IMCAS World Congress in Paris on using threads to rejuvenate the neck, a challenging but rewarding area to treat.
My lecture schedule for IMCAS, where I presented on using a combination of threads and injectables to contour the face, transforming it from a "moon face" to a more oval shape.
About Minimally Invasive Thread Lifts
Thread lifts offer a non-surgical way to tighten sagging skin along the jawline and neck. Because this procedure involves placing sutures deep under the skin, precision is everything. I use a blunt-tip cannula technique to minimise tissue trauma and prevent issues like dimpling, ensuring you achieve a naturally refreshed look without the long recovery of surgery.
My Approach to Thread Lifts
As a dermatologist who trains other doctors globally on thread safety, I have seen how much technique changes the result. A thread lift is not just about pulling the skin, it is about strategically placing threads to lift tissue while maintaining your natural expressions. Whether we are addressing mild jowls or neck laxity, my focus is on a subtle, rested appearance rather than an over-tightened or 'pulled' look.
What to Expect
- Procedure Time: A 45 to 60-minute session in the clinic.
- Recovery: You may experience minor swelling or bruising for 2-3 days.
- Results: The initial lift is visible immediately, but results continue to improve over several months as your skin produces new collagen, with effects typically lasting 12 to 18 months.
- Safety First: I always map the facial anatomy to avoid risks like nerve injury or visible sutures. This commitment to safety is a core part of the workshops I lead at international congresses like IMCAS, where I teach colleagues how to manage and prevent complications in thread procedures.
If you are struggling with skin laxity and want to avoid the downtime of surgery, a thread lift might be the right fit. We can discuss your goals during a consultation to see if this is the most effective path for you.
