Compact Bedroom Solutions
Designing a small bedroom is not about fitting less furniture in, but making the space you have work harder. We use custom platform beds, vertical storage, and precise layouts to reclaim your floor space.
If your bedroom space is small, a design like this can make a big difference. I used a platform bed and a slim, floor-to-ceiling wardrobe with integrated drawers to provide ample storage while maintaining a clean, open feel.
This compact bedroom combines style and function with an upholstered orange headboard and integrated side desk. The sliding wardrobe with a mirrored panel makes the room feel larger, while the vertical wall slats add a modern design element.
This video showcases a complete small bedroom transformation using a loft bed. Underneath the sleeping area, I've designed a full walk-in closet with glass doors, a study desk, and a cozy window seat, maximizing every square foot.
In this modern bedroom, I turned the area along the window into a functional vanity and storage bench. The room features soft, neutral tones, a statement chandelier, and built-in shelving to create a calm and organized space.
This design for a very narrow room uses a single bed tucked against the wall to maximize floor space. I included a full-size wardrobe and a floating desk by the window, creating a complete, functional room for a single person.
This small bedroom design features a bed with a built-in storage headboard and an integrated desk. The use of overhead cabinets and a pull-out table surface provides a full workspace that can be tucked away when not in use.
This design is for a tiny 5 square meter bedroom, using a platform bed with under-storage. I added a small, movable cabinet that can serve as a bedside table or a small desk, along with curved corner shelves to maximize storage.
About this collection
We do not guess how your room will look. Every project starts with a 3D render so you can see exactly where the bed, wardrobe, and desk fit before a single sheet of plywood is cut. This removes the uncertainty and allows us to adjust the layout for your exact room dimensions.
When working with compact city flats, we focus on durability and functionality. We use heavy-duty 19mm BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) plywood for all load-bearing structures like loft beds and platform storage units. This ensures that your custom furniture is not only space-efficient but built to last.
Why a Smart Layout Matters
In a small room, floor space is the most valuable asset. Our approach often involves:
- Vertical Thinking: We build upward, utilizing the full wall height for floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and overhead storage, keeping the floor clear.
- Integrated Furniture: Instead of buying separate pieces, we combine functions. A bed can double as a window seat, or a wardrobe can hide a pull-out dressing table or study desk.
- Minimalist Design: Clean lines, neutral colors, and hidden hardware reduce visual clutter, making a tiny room feel significantly more open.
Our Process
We don't believe in generic templates. Our process starts with measuring your room and understanding your daily routine. Do you need a dedicated workspace? Is storage for heavy winter gear a priority? Once we have these details, we develop a 3D visual walkthrough. This step is critical because it lets you 'walk through' your future room, identify any issues with traffic flow, and make changes to the layout before we start any fabrication.
Interior Design
We are a Bangalore-based design studio obsessed with making city flats feel open. We do not chase trends, but focus on layouts that actually work for your daily routine.
