Modern & Minimalist Pooja Units
Need a peaceful prayer corner that fits into your home? We design clean, functional mandir units that blend seamlessly with modern apartment interiors, whether you have a dedicated room or just a corner to spare.
We designed this contemporary pooja space to be both serene and stylish. The design features a custom arch with LED backlighting against a fluted wood panel, a modern chandelier, and strategically placed plants to create a tranquil, nature-inspired ambiance for a Ganesha idol.
For homes that need a modern and space-efficient solution, we created this wall-mounted pooja unit. It features a clean, minimalist design with a backlit OM mandala, tiered shelves for multiple idols, and a floating console, making it a perfect fit for a contemporary apartment.
We designed this pooja space within a dedicated niche, using marble-finish tiles with golden veins to create a luxurious feel. The backlit OM panel serves as a divine focal point, complemented by hanging bells and floating shelves for a clean, modern, and Vastu-compliant layout.
This built-in pooja niche combines a wooden frame with a pristine white backdrop. The design incorporates a backlit OM jali panel, integrated shelf lighting, and a marble-top base with drawers, offering a perfect fusion of modern aesthetics and functionality.
This compact pooja room design utilizes a textured back wall with a lotus motif and a central backlit OM panel. Wooden shelves on either side provide symmetrical display space for framed deities, while the base cabinet offers practical storage for prayer items.
A clean, all-white pooja unit designed for a bright and modern home. The focal point is a softly illuminated OM symbol, with multiple shelves for idols and a spacious four-drawer cabinet below, demonstrating how minimalist design can create a powerful spiritual corner.
This wall-mounted pooja unit features a unique layered arch backdrop with soft backlighting, creating depth and a sense of divinity. The design is completed with two traditional hanging bells on either side of a Ganesha idol, blending modern forms with classic elements.
About this collection
Many city apartments make it hard to find a dedicated space for prayer, but we find that smart positioning is key. Whether you need a floating wall-mounted unit to save floor space or a built-in niche to hide clutter, we use durable BWR plywood and soft lighting to create a clean, organized, and sacred spot.
When we approach a pooja unit project, we look at the specific layout of your home to decide between a floating or floor-standing unit. For smaller flats, a floating wall-mounted unit works best because it keeps your floor open and adds to the illusion of more space. We typically use 0.8mm to 1mm decorative laminates or marble-finish tiles to get that clean look.
For larger layouts, we can build a floor-to-ceiling unit that acts as a focal point. We often integrate backlit acrylic panels or laser-cut jali work behind the idol to create that traditional temple vibe without the bulk.
We always focus on utility too. Every unit we design includes practical storage like drawers for wicks, oils, and thalis, so your prayer essentials stay tucked away. We also check your requirements for Vastu compliance before we start building. We use Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) plywood and Hettich or Hafele soft-close hardware to ensure your unit stands the test of time, resisting the humidity that can sometimes be an issue in Bangalore.
