About Guided Weekend Treks
Why We Trek
We’re all about making memories, not just collecting dreams. For us, the journey - "kelavondu sala hogo place ginta hogtiro daarine ishta agutte" (sometimes the road is better than the destination) - is what sticks with you. Escape the city and let’s see Karnataka’s wild side together, no overthinking, no stress.
What’s Included
- Transport from Bengaluru or Mysuru to the trail and back
- Stay at local homestays or campsites
- Four solid meals (no one’s going hungry)
- An experienced guide who actually knows the place
- Forest permits sorted
- Campfire and local sightseeing - the chill part
How Our Weekend Flows
- Leave Friday night, hit the road as a group
- Saturday’s all about the trek, views, and winding down
- Sunday, maybe a bit more exploring, then back home
- Most folks are back by Sunday night or super early Monday
Our Favorite Weekend Nature Escapes
- Kudremukha Trek: rolling green hills, especially epic in monsoon
- Kodachadri Trek: forest hike, Hidlumane Falls, offroad jeep ride
- Nethravathi Trek: early start for sunrise, challenging but worth it
- Dudhsagar Falls Trek: “Sea of Milk” waterfall, monsoon madness
- Bandaje Falls, Tadiandamol, Kurinjal & Gangadikal: each has its own vibe, from shola forests to hanging bridges
What We Care About
We take only memories, leave only footprints. It’s not just about the trek - it’s about respecting these mountains and keeping them wild for the next lot. Let’s do this, but let’s do it right.

My Story
When the mountains call, we just pack up and go. That's how MAC began. Life in Bangalore gets hectic, so we started wandering off to hidden spots in Karnataka and the Western Ghats. The best part? Sometimes the road is better than the destination – 'Kelavondu sala hogo place ginta hogtiro daarine ishta agutte' (sometimes the journey itself is more beautiful than the destination). We laugh, we trek, we share chai with strangers who become friends. We care about nature, and we’re all about living with memories, not just dreams.
