Enchanted Gardens and Lush Greenery Decor
I transform venues into immersive, secret gardens using cascading foliage, fairy lights, and organic textures to create a timeless, romantic atmosphere.
An evening in an enchanted garden in Mahabaleshwar. Here, I wrapped ancient trees in thousands of fairy lights and hung chandeliers from their branches, creating a magical dining experience where nature and glamour meet.
A tablescape from a greenhouse-themed engagement. The deep green tablecloth is a rich base for the wild, unstructured floral centerpiece, while the wall of candles in the background casts a warm, romantic glow over the entire setting.
A statement candle wall, designed to be a showstopper. These installations frame the celebration with an aura of romance, casting a warm, golden light that makes the entire room feel intimate and indulgent.
A close-up of the 'ruined garden' mandap. This photo highlights the textural details of the aged-stone-effect backdrop, the overgrown foliage, and the broken columns, all intentionally styled to create a sense of timeless romance.
A grand entrance for a wedding after-party at Raffles Udaipur. A canopy of cascading foliage and crystal chandeliers leads to a blue-lit staircase, promising a night where the wilderness of nature meets the glamour of a celebration.
A magical entrance for a Sangeet in Dehradun. Guests walk through a doorway framed by lush foliage, hanging chandeliers, and glowing lanterns, creating the feeling of stepping into a secret, enchanted garden.
This selection of images further explores my garden-themed designs. You'll see details like rustic-chic tablescapes, cozy lounge nooks with floral-print cushions, grand mandap structures draped in foliage, and the strategic use of candlelight to create warmth and intimacy.

About Enchanted Gardens & Lush Greenery
A lush garden theme requires more than just placing plants around a room. I approach these designs by layering textures, such as wild, unstructured floral centerpieces against dark, velvet linens or aged-stone effects, to build an atmosphere that feels grown-in rather than set up. Whether it is an outdoor evening in Mahabaleshwar or an indoor ballroom transformation, my focus is on light and depth to make the space feel alive.
Creating an enchanted garden is not about filling a floor with potted plants. It is about architectural transformation. When I design a space like this, I look for ways to blur the lines between the structure and the surroundings.
The Architecture of Nature
For indoor venues, like the Fairmont Mumbai or traditional hotel ballrooms, we build the garden from the ground up. This involves ceiling installations of hanging foliage, custom-built facades that mimic crumbling stone or garden walls, and strategic lighting that mimics dappled sunlight or moonlight. We use elements like metallic grids, mirrors, and candle walls to break up the greenery, adding a layer of luxury to the organic theme.
Lighting as a Storyteller
In a garden setting, lighting changes the emotional temperature. I avoid flat, overhead lights. Instead, I rely on:
- Dappled Illumination: Creating a canopy of fairy lights that mimics the night sky through tree branches.
- Candle Clusters: Using pillars and lanterns to cast a warm, golden glow that softens the deep greens and brings intimacy to larger halls.
- Shadow Play: Strategic uplighting that creates depth, ensuring the foliage does not look flat in photographs.
Bringing the Outdoors In
Whether it is a destination wedding in Mahabaleshwar or a city-based celebration in Mumbai, my team handles the technical heavy lifting. This includes rigging for ceiling installations, climate-controlled floral maintenance, and custom-built staging. If you are looking for a theme that feels like stepping into a secret, time-worn forest, we start by understanding the venue’s architectural limitations and designing a landscape that works with it, not against it.
