When I design a bridal or festive piece, I pay attention to the weight of the fabric against the cut. For modern festive wear like sheer sarees, it is all about the drape and the placement of the sequins to ensure you look glamorous while staying comfortable. Festive wear needs to do two things: respect the occasion and own the room. My approach to bridal and festive design is rooted in fusion. I take classic elements—like intricate embroidery or rich velvet textures—and apply them to contemporary, bold cuts. This is not about sticking to what has always been done.
