About Indo-Arabic & Bolder Styles
If you are worried about the stain, don't be. My process uses 100% homemade, organic henna cones applied with techniques that ensure a deep, maroon colour development over 48 hours. I don't just apply the henna; I guide you through the post-care so your design looks just as vibrant in your wedding portraits as it does the day I finish.
Indo-Arabic mehendi is my go-to for brides who want the best of both worlds. You get the striking, spacious flow of Arabic patterns balanced perfectly with the dense, delicate detail of Indian floral and geometric fillers. It creates that sleeve effect that looks incredible both in person and in close-up wedding photography.
Why This Style Works
I typically pair these bolder floral motifs with fine-line checks or Jaali (mesh) work. It keeps the design from feeling too heavy while still looking royal. This style is perfect if you want a look that is grand but clean enough to show off your jewellery.
My Process & Care
Since I hand-make my own organic henna paste using triple-sifted Sojat powder and essential oils like eucalyptus or lavender, you won't have to deal with chemical reactions. Every bridal session includes:
- Lemon-Sugar Sealant: Applied immediately after the henna dries to prevent flaking.
- Post-Care Guide: I will teach you exactly how to protect the design so the stain deepens beautifully.
- Customization: We can weave in your groom's initials or wedding date seamlessly into the patterns.
If your venue allows it, I also finish the application with clove smoke curing, which helps lock in that deep colour. Whether you are planning a grand Bangalore wedding or an intimate engagement, let's create a design that feels uniquely yours.
