Another beautiful design celebrating parents, with "Aai" and "Baba" written in Devanagari script. This is a popular choice for brides wanting to honor their family.
For the spiritual bride, this design features "Siya Ram" and "Radha Krishna" in beautiful calligraphy on the palms. The arms are adorned with sacred symbols like the kalash, Om, and Swastik.
About Your Story in Henna
When we plan your custom henna, we do not just pick standard patterns from a book. I sit down with you to finalize exactly which personal elements—like your pet’s name, your engagement date, or a couple portrait—we will integrate into the flow of your design. Because these intricate additions require careful placement to look natural, the Signature Portrait sessions typically take 7 to 9 hours, so we plan the schedule and design layout well in advance of your ceremony.
Weaving Your Story into Henna
Personalization is the heart of my work. My goal is to make sure your hands tell a story that feels entirely, uniquely yours. Whether it is a portrait of your parents, your pet, or a symbolic representation of where you first met, I approach every project as a piece of custom art.
The Process
For the Signature Portrait & Storytelling packages, we move away from traditional repetitive motifs. Instead, we use needle-point henna tips to achieve high-definition detail on the skin. I use my own blend of 100% organic Sojat henna mixed with essential oils like eucalyptus and clove to ensure that your dark, long-lasting stain is just as impressive as the design itself.
Why Design Choice Matters
- Sentimental Tributes: Many brides ask for "Maa" or "Baba" tributes or deities like Ganesha to bring blessings to their new journey.
- Couple Elements: We can hide your partner's name, incorporate your wedding date, or draw scenes from your engagement.
- Modern vs. Traditional: While I love the storytelling aspect, I can easily blend these personal elements into either a dense, royal traditional style or a more spaced-out, modern chic aesthetic depending on your bridal vibe.
I am available for bookings across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, including Dombivli and Ambernath. Because storytelling designs are highly customized, I recommend booking your slot at least a few weeks early so we have time to discuss your specific vision and timeline.
