Festival and Holiday Dance Routines for Kids
From Ganesh Chaturthi to Mother's Day, we turn every special occasion into a reason to dance. Join my 'Bolly Blast' sessions where we use props like dandiya and storytelling to celebrate with rhythm, giggles, and loads of fun!
A vibrant stage performance by my students for Ganesh Chaturthi. We celebrate Indian festivals with special choreography that reflects the spirit of the occasion.
Learning to dance with dandiya sticks during a festive season class. I teach the kids how to handle the props and coordinate with their partners, which is great for teamwork and developing new motor skills.
A special class celebrating Independence Day. It’s so wonderful to see these young kids express their love for the country through dance. We always make sure to celebrate important days together in the studio.
Another one of our Independence Day routines! The kids are performing to the song 'Jai Ho', and their energy is just infectious. So proud of them.
A special Father's Day shoutout from the kids to all the super dads out there. We created this simple and fun routine to help them express their love through dance.
Celebrating Friendship Day with a fun partner dance routine. These classes are not just about learning steps, but also about building friendships and learning to work together.
A special performance the kids prepared in class to wish their mums a very Happy Mother’s Day. It is always heartwarming to see them dance for their loved ones.
About Festival & Holiday Dances
I don’t just teach steps, I build stories around them. Whether it’s coordinating dandiya sticks for a festive number or choreographing a sweet tribute for Mother’s Day, my focus is always on making sure your child feels comfortable and confident. We keep the batches small, with only 6 to 12 students, so every little dancer gets the space to shine, laugh, and really own their performance.
Celebrating festivals through dance is one of my favorite parts of running these classes. It’s not just about the routine; it’s about understanding the mood of the festival—the energy of Ganesh Chaturthi, the pride of Independence Day, or the love of Mother's Day.
Why focus on festival choreography?
When kids learn a routine tied to a specific festival, they connect with the music and the meaning behind it. We use props like dandiya sticks or flags, which helps them improve their coordination and spatial awareness without the pressure of technical jargon. They learn to move together, listen to the rhythm, and most importantly, perform with a smile.
What to expect in our sessions
My studio in Kyalasanahalli is set up for high-energy sessions, but we balance that with storytelling. If we are doing a Bollywood dance for a festive showcase, I explain the character or the story behind the song first. This helps even the shyest 'Enthu Cutlet' get involved.
My class structure
- Small Groups: I strictly limit batches to 6-12 students to give each child individual attention.
- Safe Environment: We use professional wooden flooring and AC studios to ensure comfort.
- Regular Updates: I share videos of the choreography so parents can see the progress and cheer them on at home.
- Live Showcases: For our intensive festive camps, we wrap up with a live performance so the kids can feel that stage magic.
