About Traditional Gujarati & Saree Looks
Traditional Gujarati draping and secure jewellery setting are as important as the makeup itself. I handle everything from your Nath and Matha Patti placement to your seedha pallu, ensuring it stays perfect throughout your ceremony without causing any discomfort.
My Approach to Traditional Heritage Looks
When you wear a rich Bandhani or Patola saree, you want your makeup to enhance the outfit rather than compete with it. My goal is to create a look that feels authentic to your traditions while giving you that modern, glass-skin finish. I focus on skin prep using hydrating sprays to ensure your base looks fresh under bright stage lights or outdoor daytime settings.
Why Technique Matters
For a Mandva Mahurat or any traditional ceremony, I avoid heavy, cakey layers. Instead, I focus on:
- Long-wear base: Using high-end brands like Armani or NARS so your makeup stays put through humidity and long rituals.
- Jewellery & Draping: I provide full support with heavy dupatta pinning, seedha pallu adjustments, and thread-work for Nath and Matha Patti, ensuring your heavy jewellery doesn't pull on your skin.
- Floral & Hair Styling: Whether you want a traditional floral braid with Gajras or an elegant updo, I coordinate the hairstyle to complement your saree.
Your Vision, My Craft
I believe the best traditional look is one that makes you feel like yourself. If you have a specific style in mind, we can discuss it during your trial. I want you to look like an absolute Apsara, confident and radiant, knowing that your look will last from your first ritual to your final photo of the day.
