About this collection
When I work, my focus is entirely on structural integrity. I do not just pin hair in place; I use specific crimping techniques at the roots for grip, heavy-duty hold sprays, and tested pinning patterns for heirloom jewellery. This ensures that whether you are wearing a heavy Jada Billa or a delicate fresh lotus arrangement, your hairstyle stays exactly as it was during the final check, even after hours of rituals and dancing.
Structural Prep and Durability
My process begins long before the final pin is placed. For South Indian bridal hair, especially traditional braids, I start with intensive structural prep. This includes crimping and strategic blow-drying to create the necessary base volume. This is non-negotiable for ensuring that extensions and heavy temple jewellery have a secure foundation to cling to without slipping.
Working with Fresh Florals
Floral styling is a major part of my work. Whether it is a classic Malli Poo (jasmine) Gajra or larger statement blooms like lotus, I handle them with care to ensure they stay fresh and perfectly placed. My technique involves creating a secure floral net or base before attaching, so the flowers remain vibrant and aligned throughout your event.
Collaboration and Kit
When I arrive at your venue, I bring a full kit designed for high-pressure wedding environments. I am accustomed to working alongside makeup artists, ensuring that our timelines align so your ready-to-walk-out-the-door moment is stress-free. Precision is my priority—I constantly verify the placement of Maang Tikkas and hair accessories to ensure they are centered and secure before the final setting spray is applied.
