About Reception & Evening Celebrations
Evening receptions are notoriously tricky for photography because of the low light. Instead of using harsh, glaring flashes that disrupt the party, we use fast, prime lenses on our full-frame mirrorless cameras. This allows us to capture those intimate dance floor moments and stage speeches with soft, natural light, keeping the atmosphere exactly as you remember it.
Your wedding reception is where the formal rituals end and the real party starts. As a husband-wife photography team, we work in tandem to ensure nothing is missed during this transition. One of us focuses on the stage for those crucial family speeches and award moments, while the other hits the dance floor to catch the candid, high-energy interactions between your friends and family.
We don't believe in staging photos at the reception. We want to catch the genuine reaction when a cousin surprises you on the dance floor or the quiet, sweet moment you share at the cake-cutting table. Because we shoot with multiple photographers, we provide a complete narrative of the night.
If you choose our package, we also include a dedicated 30-45 minute creative session during the evening. We use off-camera flash to create those dramatic, magazine-style couple portraits under the venue lights, giving you a mix of fun candid shots and high-end artistic frames. We know you are eager to share these memories, which is why we deliver a set of teaser images within 48 to 72 hours after the event, so you can post your favorites while the wedding excitement is still fresh.
