About Maharashtrian Weddings
During the Antarpat ceremony, we always position ourselves to capture the precise second the cloth is lowered and you see each other for the first time. We know the flow of these specific rituals well, which helps us anticipate the key emotional beats before they happen, so we never have to ask you to pose or freeze during a sacred moment.
Our approach to Maharashtrian weddings is all about staying invisible while capturing the big picture. Since we operate as a husband-wife team, we divide and conquer: one of us focuses on the bride’s expressions and outfit details, like the drape of the Nauwari or the mehendi, while the other captures the groom’s reactions and the candid laughter of family members.
We understand the cultural significance of rituals like the Kanyadaan and the Mangalsutra tying. We don't just stand back with a zoom lens; we use fast prime lenses on our mirrorless cameras to get crisp, clear shots even in the low-light conditions often found in indoor mandaps.
We prioritize capturing the 'real' stuff:
- The candid smiles during the Varmala ceremony.
- The playful teasing by friends and relatives.
- The quiet, intimate glances between the couple amidst the crowd.
Whether you are planning a grand reception or an intimate ceremony, our goal is to give you a set of images that actually feel like you. We keep our workflow continuous, meaning we are there from the initial preparations to the final reception dance, ensuring we don't miss the small, meaningful details that make your story unique.
