One critical detail you need to plan for is the venue lighting. Because this performance relies on high-power laser beams creating tunnels and shapes in mid-air, the stage must be pitch black. Even ambient floor lighting can dampen the effect, so we coordinate directly with your lighting technicians to ensure a complete blackout during the 6 to 8 minute act.
How the Laserman Show Works
This is not a passive show. I stand on stage in a robotic LED suit, and you see light behaving like a physical object. I bend, split, and create tunnels of green light. It is an illusion that works because of the interplay between my movements and the software-controlled laser output. The visuals are crisp, sharp, and designed to look like they are pulled straight from a sci-fi movie.
Technical Requirements for Your Venue
To pull this off, we need a specific environment:
- Total Darkness: As mentioned, we need a blackout environment for the lasers to be visible.
- Haze Machine: We bring our own, but the room needs to be suitable for haze to make the beams catch light.
- Audio Setup: We provide the pre-mixed electronic backing track. We rely on your venue's PA system and DJ console to deliver the sound.
- Setup Time: We arrive 60 to 90 minutes early for alignment and safety calibration.
