My process starts with checking your hair texture and length so I can secure accessories like fresh jasmine flowers (gajra) or traditional hair ornaments without them pulling or feeling heavy. I make sure your style, whether it is a tight, structured braid for a Muhurtham or a loose, romantic bun for a party, stays in place while feeling comfortable from the first ritual to the final photo.
Finding a hairstyle that complements your saree while staying secure through hours of ceremonies and dancing is essential. Whether you are prepping for a traditional wedding, a festive baby shower, or a modern reception, the right hair styling can change your entire look.
My Styling Approach
- Traditional South Indian Styles: I specialize in the classic Muhurtham Jadai (long plait) using false hair extensions (savaram) for volume, perfectly integrating real flowers and gold Jada Billalu (hair jewelry).
- Modern & Party Looks: For receptions and sangeet parties, I love creating bubble braids, soft Hollywood waves, or elegant updos that work with gowns and lehengas.
- Comfort First: I use specialized pins and high-quality hair sprays to ensure your hair holds its shape even in outdoor, humid, or windy conditions, without giving you a headache or hurting your scalp.

Before we start, I discuss your outfit and the jewelry you plan to wear. If you have a specific reference image, we can try to recreate it, or I can suggest styles that suit your face shape and hair thickness. I carry all the necessary tools—from heat styling equipment to floral pins—so you do not need to worry about the logistics.
