About Wildlife & Nature Photography
Capturing Nature’s Soul
I photograph wildlife because I want people to feel something real. It's not just about showing a tiger’s stare or the dosti (friendship) between two birds, but sharing the emotion behind every moment. I try to capture the complexity of animals and the delicate balance of their worlds.
Mammals in Their Element
Most days, you’ll find me deep in the jungle, tracking tigers and other mammals. I've spent years in Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Tadoba, and Ranthambhore, learning how animals move, react, and interact. Legendary tigers like BAJRANG and Tara, as well as leopards and blackbucks, have all crossed my lens. My focus is on animal behavior photography, not just pretty pictures.
Birds & Wetland Stories
Birds are a whole different challenge. I’m drawn to their speed and grace, especially during bird courtship photography. Watching Sarus Cranes at Dhanauri Wetlands, or flamingos during courtship, is magic. Key birding spots for me are Dhanauri, Surajpur, and Keoladeo.
How I Work
Jaisa ki hamesha humein tiger reserve ki aadat hai, patience is everything. I chase jungle sunrise portraits, letting natural light shape the story. Every animal has a kahani (story), and I want my photos to reflect that. My gear is top notch, but the real trick is waiting for the right moment.

My Story
Nature ka junoon hai mujhe (I’m obsessed with nature). I’m Girish, and I pretty much live in tiger reserves and wetlands. Chilled mornings, fog, sunlight, that’s my studio. One day it’s Tal Chhapar, next it’s Dhanauri. Patience is key. Once I saw two crows, Kali and Kalu, their dosti (friendship) melted my heart, wrote a story too. For me, it’s not just action shots, sometimes it’s a simple, quiet moment. I’m here to celebrate nature, and maybe remind you why it needs us.
My Work
Nature, Wildlife, Architectural & Street Photography - I shoot nature’s drama, wildlife stories, soulful street scenes, and unique architecture.
Top Gear for Close-Ups - Leica, Nikon, Sony - big lenses for those Leica wildlife close-ups, without disturbing anyone.
Early Bird Approach - Fog ho ya dhoop (fog or sun), I’m always out before sunrise, chasing misty sunrise nature shots.
Photos with Stories - Har photo ke peeche ek kahani hai (every photo has a story). I love storytelling wildlife portraits.
