About Interactive Handmade Albums
Every album I build is a bespoke project, meaning we can hide secret messages, add pull-out photo tags, or design interactive pockets that reveal the timeline of your memories. Since I manage the entire design process, you simply need to share the photos and the specific milestones you want to highlight, and I will weave them into a durable, textured narrative structure that goes beyond a standard photo collection.
My process for creating these albums is rooted in the idea that a gift should be an experience, not just an object. I focus on the tactile nature of scrapbooking: using heavy cardstock, metal binder rings, and patterned paper that lasts.
What goes into your album:
- Structure: I typically build these in 8x10 or A4 sizes using hardcover bases. This gives the album enough weight to feel significant and ensures it holds up over time.
- Interaction: This is the fun part. I incorporate waterfall photo flips, accordion folds, and hidden pockets. Whether you want to document a celebrity's character milestones or a personal anniversary, I design the layout to guide the viewer through the journey.
