About More Than a DJ: The Hype Man
When you book me, you aren't just getting a playlist. You are getting a live host who reads the room in real-time. I switch constantly between the decks and the mic, checking if you need a heavy Bollywood banger or a high-energy Punjabi drop, ensuring there is never a dead moment or a quiet dance floor.
Most DJs stay behind the console, glued to their laptops. I do things differently. As a performer who has spent a decade in the Mumbai club circuit, I know that music is only half the equation. The other half is communication.
When I am on the deck, I am watching your crowd. If I see the energy dip, I am on the mic instantly to pivot the mood, get people shouting, and restart the momentum. Whether it is a corporate event, a high-energy Holi party, or a wedding sangeet, I blend Bollywood, Punjabi, EDM, and commercial tracks into a seamless flow.
The Technical Side
I roll with professional Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 or 3000 setups to ensure the sound quality is crisp, especially with bass-heavy Punjabi sets. For smaller setups, I provide full PA systems with active subwoofers. All I need from your end is the venue sound infrastructure if you are choosing my performance-only package, or just a power point if you are booking my full turnkey setup. I show up early to handle the console handover, so you can focus on the party.
