About Home Decor & Tableware
My process focuses on the vibe your brand wants to project, not just the product itself. I use a mix of lighting techniques in my home studio, simulating golden hour for a warm, inviting feel or using clean, high-key lighting for minimalist e-commerce needs. I don't rely on heavy post-production tricks to fix things; I get the texture and color right through strategic composition and styling using props from my own collection.
Whether you are a new brand launching your first ceramic line or an established home decor label refreshing your social media feed, your visuals need to do the heavy lifting. I shoot with high-resolution sensors on my Sony Alpha, ensuring that every detail—from the glaze on a mug to the texture of a wooden tray—is crisp and clear.
How I Style Your Products
I work across two main styles depending on your goal:
- Lifestyle & Thematic: These are the 'hero' images meant to stop the scroll. I use props like linen, botanicals, and real food to place your product in a setting that feels lived-in. This works best for Instagram, Pinterest, and website banners.
- E-commerce & Catalogue: When you need a pure, clean look for an online store or delivery app, I switch to high-key lighting with solid backgrounds. This ensures your products are the only focus, making them perfect for marketplaces like Amazon or your own website.
