A Day at EuroKids: Play-Based Early Learning & Activities
Experience a day of purpose at EuroKids. Our daily routine blends structured learning with joyful play, using our Heureka curriculum to spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare your child for the future.
Learning is a team sport. Here, children and teachers engage in a group activity during our 'Circle Day', holding a hula hoop together to understand the shape in a collaborative and physical way.
In a group setting, children sit in a circle formed by hula hoops, learning about shapes through teamwork and guided play. This activity promotes both cognitive understanding and social skills.
Two young learners work together, holding a large, colorful hula hoop. This 'Circle Day' activity helps them understand shapes and spatial awareness while practicing cooperation and communication.
Two children proudly hold a hula hoop in our classroom, which is decorated with circular objects like a sun and a ball. This themed 'Circle Day' makes learning shapes an immersive and fun experience.
A child stands confidently with a hula hoop during our 'Circle Day' celebration. By interacting with real-world circular objects, children build a concrete understanding of geometric concepts.
Watch our 'Spell and Tell' literacy activity in action. Children use their phonics skills to identify and sound out three-letter words, making the process of learning to read both interactive and rewarding.
Learning numbers is fun with hands-on activities. Here, a child practices counting and number recognition by setting up colorful bowling pins, connecting the abstract concept of numbers to a physical game.
About this collection
We treat every classroom moment as a learning milestone, whether it is understanding shapes through hula hoops or counting through physical puzzles. This hands-on, visible thinking approach ensures your child does not just learn concepts, but masters them through movement and social engagement, building a solid foundation for independent learning.
How We Make Learning Visible
Our day follows a carefully designed routine that balances focused skill-building with free exploration. We do not believe in rote memorization. Instead, we use our Heureka curriculum—inspired by Harvard’s Project Zero—to make thinking processes clear and accessible to young minds.
Core Developmental Focus
Our daily schedule is packed with activities that target specific developmental milestones:
- Early Literacy & Phonics: Through our LitQuest program, we move beyond simple repetition. Children engage with phonetic sounds and word formation through tactile activities, making the transition to reading natural and intuitive.
- Math & Number Sense: We turn abstract numbers into physical reality. By using manipulatives like counting puzzles, cones, and hands-on games, children grasp the concepts of quantity, sequence, and basic operations before they even pick up a pencil.
- Physical & Social Development: Our low teacher-child ratio of 1:10 ensures each child receives personalized attention during yoga, zumba, or collaborative play. This structured interaction helps them learn to resolve conflict, share resources, and build empathy within a group setting.
The Importance of Routine
We know that children thrive on consistency. Our 3.5 to 4-hour sessions provide a predictable rhythm—moving from energetic group play to focused desk work—which fosters a sense of security. This stability allows even the most hesitant children to feel safe enough to explore their potential, grow at their own pace, and eventually enter primary school with the confidence of a lifelong learner.
EuroKids
At EuroKids, we see your child as soft clay—every moment is a chance to shape them into something resilient and wise. We do not just teach ABCs; we create a community where play is the serious work of growing up, and every day is a step toward their flying start.
