High-Density Hair Restoration for a Natural Look
Getting back a full head of hair requires more than just coverage; it needs high-density FUE grafting. Our surgeons focus on realistic hairlines and thick, natural results that blend seamlessly.
This patient required extensive coverage, for which we transplanted 6000 follicles. The immediate post-operative view shows the sheer number of grafts implanted to ensure maximum density.
A successful high-density case where we transplanted 4345 follicles. The result after seven months is a full head of hair with a natural, dense appearance.
Here we implanted 4500 grafts to cover a large area of baldness. The immediate post-operative image shows how we cover the entire planned area for a uniform, dense result.
We planned for 4200 follicles to address this patient's frontal and crown baldness. The one-year result shows a complete, high-density restoration.
This is a prime example of a high-density hair transplant. The nine-month result shows a thick, strong hairline and excellent overall volume.
About High-Density Hair Restoration
When we talk about high density, we are looking at 3,500 to 5,500+ grafts in a single sitting. For large baldness areas, this often means splitting the procedure over two days to keep the grafts safe outside the body. We map your hairline carefully so the new growth follows your natural pattern, not a straight line that looks artificial.
Understanding High-Density FUE
Most people worry about two things: will it look thin, and will it look fake? High-density FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) solves this by placing more follicles per square centimeter. We use motorized FUE punches to extract healthy hair from the back of your head and move it where it is needed most.
The Process
It starts with mapping. We draw the hairline markings on your scalp while you look in the mirror. This ensures the new density matches your original hair shape. During the procedure, we perform local anesthesia using Lignocaine with Adrenaline so you stay comfortable.
Managing Expectations
- The Timeline: You will see tiny red dots immediately after surgery—this is normal. New hair starts growing in 2-4 months. By 6-7 months, you see significant change, and full density takes about 9-12 months.
- The Scars: While we use 0.8mm or 0.9mm punches to minimize marks, surgery always leaves some evidence. We ensure these are camouflaged well.
- Aftercare: We guide you through the head wash on day 7-10. You get a kit with antibiotics and saline spray.
High density isn't just about packing in as many hairs as possible; it is about respecting the scalp's vascularity and ensuring every graft survives to grow. Whether it is a Grade 4 or Grade 6 baldness pattern, we plan the session to balance your comfort with the graft count needed for a full look.
